The book and the authors
Talking about the Australian Mosaic

Kim and Jacoba wrote Talking about the Australian Mosaic on the request of the publisher, Hokuseido, who wanted to publish something about Australia. Hokuseido initially envisaged the project as being a reading and writing text, but then decided to release a four skills book instead.

The authors, Jacoba and Kim, wanted to give a realistic glance into as many aspects of Australian culture as possible, while providing activities for language development, discussion, presentation, and awareness building about matters of cultural similarities and differences between Japan, Australia, and other countries.

The result is Talking about the Australian Mosaic. We hope you and your learners enjoy using it.
